Tucked away in the small Provençal village of Opio in the Nice hinterland you’ll find the largest olive oil mill in the region. When you visit, you’ll learn more about the Michel family who have owned the mill for 7 generations, along with the history of the olive tree and olive growing. You will also have the opportunity to visit the traditional mill and the more high-tech mill. Your tour will end in the shop where you can buy oil produced by the mill.

Parfumerie Fragonard
Don’t leave the area without visiting the Parfumerie Fragonard factory. When you enter the packaging facility, you’ll see the perfume being elegantly packaged ready for sale. You’ll then visit the laboratory where the raw materials are analysed and mixed, ready to create future perfume concentrates.
Your tour guide is a perfumery specialist, knowledgeable about its processes and history. At the end of the tour you’ll be offered a free olfactory test to check your nose’s capabilities.

The Marguerite and Aimé Maeght Foundation welcomes visitors all year round to its exhibition of modern and contemporary art in all its forms.
